Job Description:
Organise and manage the Sourcing project team (including Project Sourcing Commercial Managers; Subcontract Delivery Managers & Operational Fulfilment) in terms of resources, involvement, planning, budget, prioritising. Ensure that the project specific goals are understood by all procurement functions and are achieved over the course of the projects Analysis of technical and commercial scope of supply / customer requirements (functional, technical, contractual); influence the Make or Buy decision; Coordinate and control activities of team members to produce Scope of Work, Procurement plan and Schedule Manage the Design of Sourcing strategy (products, services through life support ) by coordinating the activities of the Sourcing Functions Determination of material / service cost; handling of technical changes & delivery problems Driver of project related Supplier Evaluation; Supply risk and contract mgt., Set-up of project related claim mgt Negotiation of the bid (in coordination with, Subcontract Delivery Management & Commodity Management) Negotiation and Signature of contracts; Negotiate the flow-down of terms, conditions, prices to be included in Bid Manage Flow-down of terms and conditions of Customer Contract and additional risk; Update risks identified at pre-sales stage and throughout project life cycle Manage process for short-listed suppliers, deliver the Sourcing Plan as a prerequisite Validate the Sourcing spend including risks. Be responsible and accountable for the sourcing value during the early stages of the opportunity and own the value at contract sign off Issue and signature of purchase orders whenever required, management of life cycle of contracts, mitigation plan on work packages, update and implementation of the Procurement Plan; Information sharing with Heads of department
Through Subcontract Delivery Manager organise and participate in supplier project forums. Identify cost saving opportunities (with CM & PM); Manage the Project Sourcing budget achieve cost reduction target Analysis of market conditions & Supplier Selection (final decision by PM, if required); Issuing RFIs/ RFQs (Supplier budget estimate.) Management of Risks & Issues and of Design Reviews (possibly delegation to Project Sourcing Commercial Manager (operational) Responsible for the involvement of CM. Support the bundling of commodities across the company
